Charity actions

SEN Association is involved in fundraising activities, including participating with items crafted by association members at donation exhibitions organized by various business entities such as Celestica, Cognitoronix, etc. These activities culminate in the distribution of food packages to families facing material and social difficulties, particularly those with children with SEN. Notable events in this regard include the Charitable Christmas Fair, the Charitable Easter Fair, or the Charitable Martisor Fair, which have been repeatedly held since 2012.

Individual support

SEN Association provides material support to SEN students by reimbursing the costs of therapies, certain forms of treatment or medical devices.

For the reimbursement of therapies, the association engage service contracts with individual practices or psychology societies accredited by the College of Psychologists in Romania. The fees are reimbursed monthly from the amounts obtained through donations and sponsorships. The condition for funding these fees is the parents' involvement in the fundraising campaigns of the association.

Another funding method for certain forms of treatment or medical devices is through a request made by one of the association members who advocates for the specific needs of the child with SEN in question.
